An artificial turf field since 2004, but replaced with FieldTurf Hockey Gold in 2015, this Elliptic Fiber surface is home to both the nationally renowned field hockey and women's lacrosse programs. The field hockey and women’s lacrosse teams have won a combined 10 national championships, dating back to the mid 1970’s. Dedicated in honor of legendary West Chester University field hockey and women's lacrosse head coach Vonnie Gros (1964-76) in 2008, the turf field has hosted numerous postseason events in both sports, including the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Division II National Championship Game in 2005 and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Field Hockey Championship Game in 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2019.
