Billiken Sports Center (Baseball)

The baseball diamond at the Billikens Sports Center serves as the home of the SLU baseball program. Originally opened in 1991, the facility has undergone several notable enhancements in recent years.

Prior to the 2016 season, an artificial infield was installed by Shaw Sports Turf. Brick was added to the dugouts and backstop to make the facility more visually appealing, and new padding was placed on the outfield wall. In 2014, Saint Louis University added an indoor hitting and pitching facility down the right field line in addition to a baseball locker room, which student-athletes have 24/7 access to.

Dimensions for the baseball field are 330 feet down the lines, 370 feet in the alleys and 403 feet to center. Seating for baseball is 500.

Prior to the BSC, the Billikens played home games at Sauget Field in Sauget, Ill. Prior to that, the Billikens played at Musial Field, which was located where Hermann Stadium lies just to the west of the baseball diamond. For many years before the opening of Musial Field in the mid-1960s, Saint Louis played its home games at Forest Park.

Baseball was introduced to the facility on March 2, 1992, when Saint Louis defeated Washington (Mo.) University 7-3.

Located on the Saint Louis University campus, the facility is minutes from downtown St. Louis. The primary parking venue for the BSC is the Olive/Compton Parking Garage.
