St. John Fisher University Athletics

Growney Stadium

Growney Stadium was built in 1999 and serves as the host site for St. John Fisher University's football, field hockey, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's lacrosse teams.

The field, which is also used for intramurals, has a new OmniGrass surface, which extends the field's usage long into the winter months, while lighting allows for games at night.

Growney Stadium has seating for thousands of fans, while there is additional space for viewing around the field in Keating Terrace and W. J. Pellicano Pavilion. In the Fall of 2012, personalized windscreens were added to enhance the stadium.  In 2015, the stadium received several upgrades including a ticket window and a state-of-the-art scoreboard, which plays videos, advertisements and more.

Growney stadium has served as the host site for countless Empire 8 Conference and NCAA Championship games and has also had crowds of over 5,000 spectators for the annual Courage Bowl.Â
