Soccer Field at Moretz Sports Athletic Campus

The Soccer Field and Irwin Belk Track at the Moretz Sports Athletic Campus is home to the Lenoir-Rhyne University soccer and track and field programs.

The facility recently saw the addition of bleachers which has helped Bears Field be one of the toughest places for opposing teams to play. Since the bleachers were added prior to the start of the 2018 season, the men's program has gone 17-8-1 at home, while the women are a combined 21-7-1. The facility has hosted the NCAA Division II Women's Tournament in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2019 and the men's and women's soccer programs have combined to win seven SAC Regular Season Championships since the start of the 2010 season. The women's team also advanced to an NCAA Final Four in 2021.

Just outside of the soccer surface, the Track and Field team competes on the brand-new, state-of-the-art Irwin Track which features a mondo surface that was installed prior to the 2018-19 athletic season. The facility is the first facility specifically dedicated to the Track and Field programs and the one of only two in the South Atlantic Conference with the capability to host the SAC Tournament.
