Joe McDaniel Field at Andy Frye Stadium

Joe McDaniel Field at Andy Frye Stadium was built in 2022 and serves the home of Centre football, men’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s track & field. The stadium was built on the grounds of the old Farris Stadium, which had stood since 1923.

The stadium includes an NCAA regulation football field with a synthetic turf surface, along with permanent visitor seating along the eastern sideline, new lights, play clocks and a net system designed to protect Sutcliffe Hall. The south end zone features a 32-foot LED video board and scoreboard.

In addition to the football field, there is an eight-lane rubberized track, which allowed Centre College to be selected to host the Southern Athletic Association Track & Field Championships in 2023. The track is available for walking and running when the field is not in use.

The newly built press box features a control room for gameday operations as well as separate rooms for coaches and broadcasts. The facility also includes state-of-the-art locker rooms, coaching offices, and a pair of hospitality suites.
