Charleston Southern baseball makes their home on campus at Nielsen Field @ CSU Ballpark. Located on the back end of campus, the Ballpark features a natural grass field and stadium that seats 1,000 fans in a picturesque setting for college baseball. With the recent addition of the Singleton Baseball Complex, fans now enjoy a new picnic area that offers a great view of the action along with updated concession stands.

The Bucs played under the lights for the first time on April 19, 2013 when the Bucs hosted Big South rival Presbyterian in front of a sellout crowd. Since the installation of lights, night baseball in Charleston's beautiful spring weather has become a fixture at CSU.

The complex around the Ballpark houses covered batting cages, a concession stand, ticket booth, press box, premium seating around the backstop and grandstand seating behind home plate and down both baselines.

A pitcher friendly ballpark, the dimensions measure 330 feet down each outfield line and 380 feet to the gaps. The center field fence stands 400 feet from home plate, and beyond the wall is a camera stanchion utilized for streaming select CSU games on the Big South Network. A large inning-by-inning scoreboard is located in left centerfield, giving fans a breakdown of the action, as well as runs, hits and errors.
